ACE Background

Airsoft Corps of Engineers Background

Introduction

The Airsoft Corps of Engineers (ACE) was formed as a team of Division 6 members who shared a common passion for airsoft and enjoyment of the sport. Comprised of members who are able to regularly attend games and operations, ACE has rapidly flourished and has been instrumental as the forefront of the Division 6 Field project.

An established presence in the Virginia airsoft community, ACE spearheads initiatives to coordinate, improve, and unify airsoft across Northern Virginia and the rest of the state.

Motto

Our motto, "Construere Perdereque," is Latin for "To build and destroy." As a team, we pool our knowledge to discuss and construct both working and non-working structures, props, weapons, and devices to enhance the game and increase enjoyment of the sport. We also train as a unit, improving our ability to capture and, if called for, obliterate our objectives, whatever and wherever they may be.

Emblem

Our emblem, a skull with a crossed wrench and Ka-Bar, signify the two crowning principles of our mission; construction and destruction. The selection of the Ka-Bar as the knife represented is in honor of the United States Marine Corps, whose uniforms we've chosen to base our image upon. The spade in the background draws relation to the ace of spades from a deck of playing cards, signifying that we have an "ace up our sleeves," as a throwback to our penchant for keeping our sometimes unorthodox methods under wraps.

FATE

Headed up by Kilo1-1, formerly of the Urban Outlawz, First Assault & Tactical Entry is ACE's close-quarters battle squad. With over 10 years combined experience with indoor and close-quarters airsoft, FATE is ready to explode onto the CQB scene in a hail of plastic. FATE was conceived as a seperate entity, after merging ACE's CQB specialists with Urban Outlawz, in order to boost our ranks and improve on our methods.
